Full circle update - Micra is being replaced by the car that it replaced back in 2014:

    "Get them while they last"

I saw an online ad for the Micra this week along the lines of:

"Don't miss your chance to buy a 2019 Micra while supplies last!"

    Nissan web site

Well, they finally took the 2019 Micra off Nissan Canada's web site.

    Sadness.

Clarification: it's gone from the "new cars" section. You can still find it under "discontinued models".

And Honda has dropped the Fit, which I have had and would buy again. Taking away all our small car hatchback choices. Decided to keep my Micra now (only 50,000 km) because there is really nothing I like to replace it with......

Interesting......Yet hatchbacks in Europe remain popular.......I guess its SUV's large and small for us in Canada.....or swoopy looking sedans. I saw a new Versa sedan at a Nissan dealership yesterday, I have to say it was very sharp looking.....but I sat in a new Nissan Kicks(another apparent replacement for the Micra), and found that my Micra interior felt far more spacious......Ive always been a fan of hatchbacks, and its sad to see them leave the scene......
