    Spark pluggy goodness

It only took a little over an hour to get done, I was expecting more of a fight lol but I had been wondering why my fuel efficiency had been dropping. Now I'll see how the Denso 4711's fair.

Wow! That's a lot of electrode wear!

I bet you noticed a difference in the engine with the new plugs in.

How many kms on the old ones?

I'm surprised that Nissan Canada does not offer maintenance schedules on their web site. Nissan USA does. Here is link to for a 2015 Versa Note.https://owners.nissanusa.com/content...ance-guide.pdf

They recommend plug replacement at 105,000 miles (169,000 km)

as far as mileage goes, since I bought the car (with my driving habits) I always averaged 6.9-7.1 on the computer. It had crept up to 7.4 a few months ago, and within the last 2 weeks had gone to 8.0

While I was changing my plugs I did notice that I had just enough oil left in the car to just barely touch the end of the dip stick... so... odds are the 7.4 to 8.0 was likely the near total lack of oil in the system, still hunting down where it all went lol, thankfully I have a special lube in there designed to save an engine in just such scenarios.

Filled back up with oil, just put another 750km on this weekend, averaging 6.4

I did not know the OEMs were Denso.

I wonder if you went with Denso again? My 2015 SV is at 43K so i will not have to tackle that for a while. Glad it is not as hard as it looks though.
