Heavy Pollen.

Last week I had my car nice an shiny. Then two days later it looked like this:





It is not dirt or dust. Yellow pollen all over it. Car wasn't driven anywhere those two days either. Anyone else experiencing this? I've never seen anything like it.

We get that. Some years, when the wind blows, there's so much coming off the evergreen trees in the back yard it looks like green smoke blowing away.

For What It's Worth I read that some car owners with Pollen issues have found the California Duster really helpful for quickly cleaning it up and keeping their cars shiny without washing their cars just to rinse off the pollen. I cannot speak for how well it works on pollen. I bought it and find it does minimize car washes and helps keep the car clean between car washes And I am not getting a kickback from the company for suggesting it. I am just sharing my experience. It's pollen season.

Pollen is very abrasive to the clear coat, if you keep a good layer of protection on the car like a wax or sealant, you will have an easier time rinsing the car off. I basically try to avoid touching the paint at all between washes during this time.

Optimum No Rinse is a godsend product, and with such a tiny car, it's easy to wash even in an apartment parking lot.
