    Poly Motor Mounts?

Inspired by another member, but wanting to go slightly overboard as per my usual :P

Picked up a new set of motor mounts, cost about $90USD for all three. As the transmission uses a pillow mount, and I'm too lazy to remove all the stuff in that area to get access, I'm not bothering with it.

Got a 70A urethane from the same company I used for casting my rear spring converters (if you haven't seen those, they're an 80A urethane that can take 2K psi without tearing, that lets me any use regular spring (and helper spring) rather than the conical type we have stock, or that is supplied aftermarket). Used some tuck-tape I believe... taped off everything and got to pouring.

there's a paper thin membrane between either side of the torque mount... cut that out, then used acetone and isopropyl to get rid of the release agent that was still on the rubber. Taped one side with the metal cutout, then taped over the whole thing including the metal to keep it clean. Pour in one spot and let it fill.

My phone's on the fritz, just randomly shutting down and freezing, if it stops being garbage I'll try and get another pic of them with the tape peeled off.

i wonder if you just replaced the torque mount if it would feel less like the clutch is connected to a rubber band
    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!

Well done. Much cleaner than my approach, and no doubt stiffer.

it is a 70A vs the 55A you went with, so I'm expecting it to be quite ridgid, but having a second set means I can mangle these (drill out sections if they're really too much) and not worry about just going back to stock with no hassle if I decide to do that too. I've had to scrape out poly before and it can be a massive pain lol
