Just picked up a White SV

Hi everyone. Just got myself a new (to me) daily driver. It's a bit of a departure from my normal car buying habits. The other current cars in the stable are a Toyota AE86 (long term project) and a Honda PP1 (summer toy). Still, looking forward to getting some new wheels and doing a bit of suspension work.

Also, it's cute that you guys think this thing is geared low.

    Hey, welcome!

What year/trim/trans did you get? Make a garage entry:

My aunt bought one new: 1996 GTS hatchback 5-speed, black, just like this:

I remember the few times I got to drive it - what a riot. I told her recently it's the only car she's owned that she should have put away in grandpa's barn when she was ready to move on. I remember it was particularly vulnerable to rust. She had the body/paint done once before she ultimately got rid of it.

and a Honda PP1 (summer toy).
HOLY CRAP! I didn't know the model code for that one - it's one of my dream cars! Where do you live - can I try it?

Yeah, you can't please all the people all the time!

And compared to that Honda, I'm sure a Micra feels ridiculously tall.

Lol. I'm pretty sure that once I get the Honda back to the height I had when i was in Japan, I could probably park it under the Micra's mirrors. I'm quite a far bit south of you, out London way.

It's a white SV with 5 speed, and the regular radio.

Seriously though, my Corolla spins at 4000 @ 100km/h in 5th, and the Honda is even higher than that. Bringing it home today, I kept having to slow down, since I wasn't used to the gearing being that high.
