AzmodonI've always found that (night + rain + micra) = might as well not have headlights. While I put 2K Lumen LED's (standard halogens are ~700) in the fiance's stock housings, and holy crap are they an improvement, I took it one step farther.
Morimoto M-LED projectors @ 2.8K after 5 hours of heating cycles in an oven making sure not to melt the housing, and finding out that instead of screwing the lens on to the housing, or using clips, they use bloody staples... got the headlights open - Special side note, Hella likes permaseal, permaseal sucks to open lol it's like a mix of caulking and solid ABS.
What the front end looks like without headlights - just 3x10mm bolts hold them in.
Prior to removal I compared what I had to what I was moving to (low beam)

it's certainly odd having a nearly full 180 degree spread of light. Finished product (took a weekend) - will be wiring up the demon eye and white/amber switch back strip tomorrow
