Nissan dropped the Micra in Australia

I stumbled on this today -- I didn't know it had been cancelled down under:

Nissan only sold 1243 examples of the Micra in 2015, a 48 per cent drop from the previous year
    From: https://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/...0160422-gocqe6

The "micro-car" segment in Australia (which includes a few other small cars we don't get in Canada) has been declining as buyers shift to crossovers, trucks & SUV's.

    Sound familiar?

In Australia, the Micra was available with the 1.2L triple, and competed against the Spark, VW Up! (also cancelled), Kia Picanto, Fiat Panda (cancelled), Mitsubishi Mirage, and Suzuki Celerio (cancelled).

How do I say "no thank-you" to a post.

    I know! It's sad.

I do think we've passed "peak small car", unfortunately.

At least for now. These things go in cycles.
