What part of the country? Busy highway?

If you drive in traffic, you often gain an aerodynamic benefit (even without drafting closely) that you would not have if you were driving by yourself at the same speed on the same road.

I have had my automatic for almost a month now. I usually get at least 450km on a tank.... but when I filled it, it was only 32-34L to fill, so it was not completely empty. This is driving highway and city combined.

I have not taken it on a straight highway trip yet.

My 2018 micra with just 3100km on it gets 5.5/100 km. A road trip from Keremeos to Vancouver island was great, comfortable seats, handles nice. Kept speed just under 100 km/hour, manual transmission. Its a small car, drive it as such and don't beat the H out of it. Great power on hills, just a very nice car to drive!

Hmm.. that sounds pretty far off what you should be getting unless you are driving at odd speeds for the 4 speed auto and really trying to rev the piss out of it. What does your dash rate you at for L/100km?

Does the mileage calculator work on the time frame of the current drive, or a number of past drives? I usually leave my display on the live economy gauge so I can know if I'm too heavy on the pedal.

I got mine new this year, showed 7.0, and has so far dropped and held stable at 6.5.

It keeps calculating since the last manual reset, if I'm not mistaken.

I drive mine hard and almost all city. I reset the meter each time i fill up so i know my efficiency each tank and have a smaller average to keep up with (or down). Summer joy riding I get 7.4L/100km in the 5mt which should be way more than what you're burning. 41L / 7.4L x 100 = 554kms. I definitely get about 450-500kms by the time I'm on empty but probably not 550 even if I pushed it til dry.
