I didn't realize it required regular gasoline to start! Interesting.
The switch between fuels is fully automated? Is there a low-fuel warning for the small gasoline tank?
In a way, it reminds me of the dual diesel/vegetable oil converted cars: it must start and end the trip on diesel, but can run on vegetable oil in between. It's for ease of starting... and so the veggie oil doesn't solidify in the fuel lines if it gets too cold.

All the flexfuel cars need premium gasoline to made the cold start. When its cold like zero degrees or less the car cannot start. There is a light for the level of the cold start tank. Cars like renault doesn't have so you need to check sometimes
