    Well.. were on this subject of Maintenance..the Echo has a timing chain..does anybody know if the Micra does or does it have a timing belt..this is a big maintenance items a forgot about.

    The HR16DE (the engine in the Micra) uses a timing chain as well.

    I was able to get 5.1 L/100 km in the 5-speed Micra in mixed driving around Montreal last week. Careful driving, no high speed highway in that test.
