Beats threading the knurled collar nice ad-on I like it. Looks like a long shift throw? Perhaps next the Nismo short shifter kit?

this collar kit sits on top of our current shifter, but it doesnt make that much longer than stock shifter height, I actually like this height more than before. I have monthly shipment from Japan, and I have a source to get NISMO parts from Japan, I dont buy any JDM parts from online with more money.

I have the same part waiting to go on, but I can't figure out how to get the damn stock knob off

Also finding it a challenge to locate a knob that threads deep enough so it reaches down near the bottom of the collar...

Just twist it off counter-clock wise, go for it break it! The stock knob is cheap shit anyway, who cares if it breaks. I threaded the stock knurled rod with an M10 die & 3D printed a small collar to retain the shift boot in place.

Oh, sorry for late reply, part number is 32865RNK31, if you are interested for this item, I have monthly shipment from Japan, so you don`t pay for individual shipping for this small items. Let me know if anyone interested.

Also, Knob thread size is 10x1.25mm, you can put Nismo knob or anything, I just put TOMEI shift knob in my car.
