Review: 2015 Nissan Micra – Canada’s lowest priced car (Toronto Star / Wheels.ca)
Reviewer Jim Robinson admits he was skeptical when he first heard about the sub-$10k starting price for the new Micra. He figured the base car would be just a phantom meant to lure people to dealerships where they'd be up-sold to higher trims.
So he was surprised to see Nissan actually showing off the base car at the Micra launch, and says that the company expects 10% of sales to be the S model.
Brief impression...
Likes...
- surprisingly sporty, fun to drive (referring to the manual)
- supportive seats
- lots of headroom
- road noise not bad
- manual shift (calls it "spring-assisted" ... news to me)
Dislikes...
Again, another reviewer with little negative to say from first impressions:
- hard plastic interior ("but hey – it’s not a Rolls-Royce.")
