    Moving on: 2017 Sentra turbo

So, the old girl went in for a tranny swap, and I ended up falling in love with the 17 Sentra Turbo. I had so much fun with our beloved ten grand tin can, but now my heart belongs to that zippy little boost-mobile. If anyone on Van Isle or even the mainland are looking for some 17" konigs, let me know! Thank you everyone for providing such a wonderful comminity.

    Say it ain't so!!

Always sad to see a member move on. Oh well, congrats on the Sentra. Enjoy!

(You might have better luck making a dedicated thread for the wheels in the for sale section)

Good for you. At the end of the day, the Micra is an entry level car, and, as fun as it is, there are more fun, more comfortable, and perhaps slightly less practicable options. Got to drive what you love!

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

Why did it go in for a tranny swap?
    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!

There ended up being a prematurely worn bearing that caused this high-pitched tea kettle type whistle while coasting, the tranny fluid was metallic black.

Some manuals can be problem-prone, but automatics tend to have more problems overall.

Certain manuals are known to experience synchro wear more than others, and not just in "performance" cars. EG: first generation Honda Insight 2nd gear - common problem.

Can we make a section for Sentra in here plz admins
I know it's a micra forum but maybe if there enough traffic it would warrant the split to 2 forum under 1 umbrella forum ? There definitely some cool mr16ddt mods.. could transition well to the Sentra.. just sayin..
