^ Based on the trend of car sales vs. crossovers/CUV/SUV's, I think our chance of seeing the new Micra in Canada is dwindling fast.

368 Micras found homes last month, down -60% vs. last Sept. That means 3 of the 4 slowest months for Micra sales have happened this year.

Overall Nissan sales were down -2.3%

Once again, the LEAF outsold the Micra/Versa Note. (Probably due to people rushing to get one before Ontario's rebate was cancelled.)



Shockingly, sales of the Chevy Spark have increased each year since it was redesigned for 2016, and GM priced it to compete directly against the Micra with a $10k base trim. It may overtake the Micra as the best-selling "city car" if the trend holds for the rest of this year. It's going to be very close.
