Really, i haven't had the opertunity to drive the Spark, just so few around...But looking at the numbers...
it is 3" shorter wheelbase and 2" narrower track, that should keep handling reasonably close to the feel of the Micra. The car is a lighter, so it could blow around a little more.
Really...I've haven't noticed anything in the Micra that makes it feel any different then most other cars...
I drive a Kia Van and a Motorcycle, both blow around far more then the Micra.

Actually looked it up: the automatic Spark & Micra weigh the same. The manual Spark is just a little bit lighter:

Aerodynamics play a huge part in highway stability, though. (EG: No surprise that a van might get blown around, even though it's heavier.)

record month: 1,278 Micras in May

    Nice!

    • The 2015 Nissan Micra subcompact celebrated its thirteenth month in market with 1,278 units sold in May, an increase of 45 per cent. This marks the Nissan Micra's best-ever month since launch in April 2014.

That made it Nissan's 3rd most popular vehicle, behind the Rogue and Sentra.

And Nissan is the most successful Japanese carmaker in Europe, especially in France, Spain and the UK, where the Qashqai (a Rogue-equivalent for the European market) and the Juke are the two most popular models, followed by the Micra.

And did you know that the Pulsar is back in Europe? But not the one you would expect...

    vs. Spark & Mirage

The competitors' numbers are out (updated the table in post #1).

The big surprise is GM actually sold some Sparks last month: 365 vs. 45 the month before! They must have had a fleet order.

Since each of these 3 cars is sold into rental fleets, it's too bad we don't get to see the division of retail customers vs. fleet.

I wonder if that would GM Spark sale would actually be a portion of EV too...i think the EV is available as Fleet, and coming in 2016 the EV will be public...
in the US it is $18K starting price..not bad for an EV if you don't need to worry about mileage anxiety...

Good point: I read about the Spark EV becoming available in Canada too.

Supposedly it's super fun to drive: TONS of torque -- a lot more than competing EV's (Leaf, Smart, Fiat, iMiev, etc).

Cool! I want to try a Volt. Once you try electric drive, it's addictive.
