What did you have to buy to put that custom air intake together? !t looks great! Does it make a difference?
Well for the intake it took me a few different sized pipe to get the car to respond well, and run without the idle being lumpy. I settled with I believe a 2 to 3 inch abs adapter that is attached to a short piece of 2" abs, and a 90 degree 2" silicone elbow. And for the Maf sensor, I took the stock box and careful Dremel work to make the sensor house to adapt to a 2" silicone coupling. The mod seemed to open up a lot of the high end of the engine, in combination with the catback. 500 rpm to 3000 rpm seem to keep the same torque, but from 3000-6500 rpm the engine gets a second wind lol.
