I have done “push it to the limit” With 1” lower with falken ze950as 205/55r16
Deep turns and high speed bumps in the road you’ll hear it touch. But it’s minor.

Ok I’m thinking I should get a 205/50/16. Love the firestone Indy 500’s and they do come in that size so I think that’s what I’ll end up getting. I appreciate your input IMPUL.

Those will work and they are discounted right now. So make sure you get em cheap. I think I found them for $135 each for 17” so 16” should be cheaper

About $550 tax in $650 installed. If your are paying more I’ll shoot you a link

Current wheel lust. Looking hard at a set of 17x7.5 ET42 4x100 fifteen52 Integrale Asphalt Black. The 4x100's are sold out everywhere at the moment, so I guess other folks are digging them too. Hopefully they make some more. I'd add a set of 205/45/17 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 all seasons. More tire than the Micra needs but would make for some fun drives. willtheyfit.com shows they'll be really close to stock diameter and should fill out the fenders just about right...

its too "spokey"...aftermarket wheels should be as open as possible, but that MY opinion...assuming im goiing to get a freeshrug if not worse...lol..hope you can find what you want...i have NO financial affiliation or any other with this site ,but lately i buy all my tires off PMC tire in quebec (and i live in vancouver!) the shipping is so cheap i assume they ship drugs with the tires and remove the drugs before delivery!
    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!

Yeah, I'm sure they're not everyone's cup of tea but like you said, to each their own. They're in the style of 90's Group A rally wheels. Kind of old school I guess. But then I'm old, so that seems about right.

If anyone is wondering... 17", 7.5" width with a 45mm backspace running 215/45R17's do fit & look really good... That said, the setup I have now feels way too heavy for the car.

That's great info @Vaszya, thanks! That also means a 205/45/17 on a +42 7.5 wheel will work, which is the spec I'm looking at. Cheers!

    Excellent information vaszya.

It “feels” heavy because of overall size. You’ve effectively changed your “final gear ratio”
