    putting back spare tire

I have removed the spare tire for rustproofing a few days ago, now I have decided to put it back since the oil has stopped dripping.

but when i look at the tire, I was like... wait... which way is the correct way to mount the tire back? Was the inside of the tire suppose to face up? or face down? I checked the owner's manual and they don't seems to have the diagram.

I took a few pics here and hopefully someone can enlighten me? Thanks!

Yet another difference between our UK cars and yours. My spare is inside the boot. Under the carpet, I wonder why the difference?

Or do you guys have the same law as in America where you can only carry beer or any booze in the boot and not in the car? Ifso maybe room for beer would explain the difference? Lol!

a few inches more space in the trunk i guess... as long as the rack doesn't get rusty, or else the tire will probably fall out lol.

a few inches makes a huge difference
