Micra Cup race 1&2 Calabogie. May 14/15 Meetup?

Will there be any members heading out to the first race weekend for the cup?

I expect more GTA members to attend the Mosport events. But this is great spot for Ottawa/Gatineau members.

With a great mix of both returning drivers from last year and new drivers this will be an awesome display of "who brings what" as far as driving skill to the track. I personally want to see all the new paint /decal/ wrap jobs on the micra S promoting the great companies that support drivers in this series. The three very beautiful very classy and very quick female drivers are always a threat to stand on the podium and it would be great to see one of them make it to the top step and win one of these things. ( it's only a matter of time imo) There were also some drivers last year at the last race that seemed to be getting the hang of it and were much quicker than in previous attempts so all of this is why I can hardly wait for this to start. If you live in eastern Ontario or western Quebec you should try to make it out to one of these things even a one day trip to see the same car you drive every day being pushed to it's limits and beyond in a 30 car field door handle to door handle. If you can make it out I will see you there!

Looks like I'm gonna see a wet race. Weather looks cold and wet for this weekend. Calabogie is a long drive for most of us so it's just as well that it be wet now and hope the weather is good for the much closer ctmp events and of coarse the Quebec events. One good thing is I may get to see the micra cup wet tire in action. I have been assured by those who know that this tire works extremely well in the rain so we will see that at least. If anyone does end up going post it here I will update here throughout the weekend with results and pics.

I wanted to see the Calabogie track, but this weekend doesn't work for me.

I'll be looking at a Mosport event instead.

    Have fun & dress warm!

Looks like Olivier didn't forget too much over the long cold winter.

Speaking of which... Forecast looks decent for tomorrow! Have fun.\

    Which team are you helping?
