    Dash lights out.

4am i made a run to the all night Pharmacy and some of my dash lights lit up initiaally, but all went black once i put the headlights on.

Anyway, radio works...radio lights sometime, but not when driving. Headlights and signals ok. Almost never drive at night so this may have been like this for a while.

Will take it in Monday to be looked at.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Once in my 2000 focus. Was just a fuse though. Do the lights come back on when you turn the headlights off?

Hey Moose, did you try fiddling with the dimmer control on the instrument cluster? Sounds like you may have it turned down so try turning it all the way up.

After a few acetaminophen and a few hours sleep i did get up and go through the manual to check that. In fact i was just about to post this:

So i don't know how it got turned all the way off, probably while i was messing with the trip computer with the lights on.

    So there's another mystery solved

    Thanks!
