Bling Bling ( Custom Inner Hatch Scuff Plates)

Started a new project tonight. As some of you may know I have already installed a rubber bumper protector to protect my bumper sill. I went with the rubber because I thought it would be some extra grip for my dog, also the Nissan metal one looks like it's polished, not chrome. I was afraid it would clash. I have much chrome.

However Nissan also has some covers that the protect the inside as well. Because I can, and it's cheaper I decided to make my own.

Vapor, what did you use as adhesive. The plates came with my SV but as the exterior one detached over the winter, I am expecting these to detached as well. Dealer installed options i was told.

3M double side tapes will usually do.

For all the outside stuff I used double sided tape, but on these I used some new super clear silicone I got from the Wurth guy. I also clean all the surfaces with pure alcohol before application.

Oh that wurth silicone is good stuff! The plastic repair stuff is great too! We have got a new guy now though and he's useless! Can say to him like penetrating oil and he's like "Eh?" sorry off topic there lol!
