    Bumper/Hatch scratch pad

I got this so my dog doesn't scratch my bumper when jumping in to the hatch. Kind of regret not paying more attention to the ad because I could have had a red one.

So that's for the "lip" on top of the bumper?

Can you post a pic of it installed?

Here's what it looks like installed. Sorry for the grainy pics, my phone was built for durability not picture quality.

Looks great! Did they supply glue / tape to put it on, or did you? If you supplied it what did you use?

Hey Vapor, that little chrome bar at the bottom of your back door, did you cut that yourself?

It came with a small roll of 3m tape, but I added a little more since I have access to it at work. I would get the black with a white car. Thinking about it some more on mine the black looks more like it would come standard issue like that from the factory. The colored rubber is not something car manufacturers often do. The chrome stripes on my hatch and doors were installed at the dealership, I didn't like any of the accent colors so I told them I wanted all chrome for the same price.

A little side note. I can see it in my back up camera, and since the camera is not centered at the back it looks a little weird on the screen. That's one thing I don't get. Why are our back up cameras not centered like on European models I have seen? Kinda strange no?

Thinking about it some more, if you were to purchase the Nissan rear bumper guard, which is made of aluminum. I bet that in certain sunlight conditions it would blind your backup camera.
