    Kia Rio / Micra similarity

Whenever I see a last generation Kia Rio, I find I'm doing a double-take because of the similarity to one of the Micra's main styling elements: that strong side arc defined by the tops of the doors, within the "squarish" rear roof shape:

Though the Kia's arc line is a bit more defined by the blackout panel leading to a crisp point behind the rear door.

There's only so much design engineers can do with a small car to create interior room. Also, please don't compare to Kia anymore. I didn't mind the Hyundai comparison so much, but I think this one crosses a line.

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

Sorry, I thought the Pony comparison was much worse!

At least that rear window bodyline doesnt tie into the rear brake light... Im really not a fan of how that was done on the Kia.
