Any pictures of the leaf? How often did you drive it?

I thought when the Micra got older I might try a conversion. I imagine in ten years I could probably get the same range with batteries as I do now with gas.

So I took some pictures of the battery operated equipment and the charging/changing area at work. The top one is my current weapon and the messy desk behind it with the micra poster would belong to yours truly. The second one is of the electro magnet on the changer. The third one is the charging area for the changer. The forth one is a battery being pulled. The fifth one down is a charging pad for the driverless train. The sixth one down is s driverless train. I could go on and on lol too many pics.

Wow, pretty cool. Like that lift truck. I can see how that magnet just rolls out what...thousand(s) pounds of batteries? And the charge pad for the train...Looks like a big complex. Looks like...the future. Thanks Pete.

The first week i had my micra i kept hitting the turn signal to go forward.

Yeah most of our batteries are two and a half ton. The facility is huge you can easily fit three Rogers centers in it. The future..not quite most of the stuff in the pictures is obsolete and twenty five years old except for the train it's a new set our old train set wore out and of course my lift truck which is pretty new. The led lights have eight pods of seven LEDS each and are very bright which I need with my old eyes

Thats cool. I love the battery charging setup, Sure beats the plug in ones we have to fight here where we work. But of course, our facility is super small in comparison. Teeny.

Hey, Moose. Back in April 2011 we were considering replacing the Grand Am GT with the Leaf, but soon learned its limited range wouldn't work for us. Now 5 years later, a lot has changed and an EV would be perfect.

    Here's me testing out the Leaf:Name: DSCF0031.jpg

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

depending on your budget and the subsidies that exist in your area, wait a year for the Bolt, or two-three years for the Tesla model 3. also, there's a WHOLE bunch of excellent PHEVs and EVs that will debut by 2020 or slightly before.

if my micra had, say, 150miles real world range, plus i could charge in my apartment lot, then i would take a Micra EV in a cinch.
