At $9,995, the 2016 Chevrolet Spark is now the cheapest new car you can buy in Canada.
It might be a negligible price difference, but it’s enough to take the title from the $9,998 Nissan Micra – Canada’s previous cheapest new car since it launched two years ago.

Instead of marketing "cheapest car" (i.e. race to the bottom), the focus should be more on features per price point (for an extra $3 more, you get room for a 5th passenger with their own seat belt in the Micra)...

Mind you, I think you can have the 5th person sit above that hole / cup holder in the centre of the rear seat, might come in handy for bathroom breaks on long trips...
