    For my fellow space geeks...

I've recently become aware that some of you support NASA. While not technically NASA (actually SpaceX, who works with NASA), this latest launch demonstrates that space shuttles have become obsolete, at least as a platform for launching satellites. This is the future of space travel.

This happened on the night of the winter solstice. For those of you who celebrate Christmas, please enjoy these surfing Santas:

Happy holidays, Merry Saturnalia, Merry Christmas, Happy Festivus, Happy Hanukkah, and be excellent to yourselves and each other.

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

I've been following the Space-X stuff on YouTube. Very cool they finally got it (after being up-staged by the other rich guy's company a week or so ago).
