Hi Everyone.
With the sudden unexpected death of my daily driver (Toyota Camry which I use to commute to work), I was put in the awkward spot of finding an instant replacement. A friend at work recently did a lot of research and bought a Micra S, which they have been extremely happy with, especially the price/value. This helped make my decision very easy, as I wasn't prepared financially to replace my car at this exact moment, nor did I have the luxury of time to research all my car options. After a quick test drive, I signed the paperwork and was driving my car by the next day.

I came across this forum, while searching for aftermarket accessories, and I'm loving all the great information it's members are posting. Trailer hitch from Quebec is on my purchase list for next Spring.

I'm already planning on doing the front grille protection screen installation in the near future, that your members posted about (great idea).

Hopefully along the way, I can post some pics and add helpful/relevant posts myself.

I'm also on the hunt for a great set of affordable winter car mats for the front, as well as finding a storage tote I can convert into a trunk liner.

Welcome aboard! How old was the Camry before it died?

Thanks, the Camry was a young 10 years old, with 270,000 km. All symptoms pointed to Head gasket or possible crack in engine block. BTW, Peterborough is my hometown, born and raised there. I know the city extremely well. My family still lives there, so I visit quite a bit.
