From the litte town and region I lived in the first year with my micra... I could defenetly say that the car of capable of offroad. High ground clearance and a "traction button control". (really needed XD) Also, going reverse to clip hill in winter for better traction... yup "thought life" around témiscaming!

I needed to does 4 km of mud/snow, not open road in the winter by big snow storm... and oh boy in the spring there wass mud everywhere! That why I got a skidplate under the hood. Now even rally armor mudflap for rally look.

I even got some clip with my gopro from old footage. I will do a little montage just to prove/show it. Stay tune.Name: 20160821_113657.jpg

Great pictures and thanks for sharing! We've had decent off-road experiences in our Micra as well, in some of the gravel and dirt back roads in Alberta, Sask & Manitoba this past summer. The after market Canadian Tire mud flaps really do help with side stone chips, especially after reading the thread about the sand blasting occurring under the car just behind the front wheel wells. We're planning on driving our Micra to Las Vegas in Feb. 2017, and doing some light desert off-roading around Death Valley (Badwater & Furnace Creek) and driving to Rachel NV to check out some aliens and Area 51...
    Nice!

It must be funny when the Micra is the "big" car in the group when the iQ shows up.

There are a lot of older Smart Fortwo's in my town, and one iQ currently sitting at a used car dealership. Very rare sight for me.

Too early to think about snow yet (although it was snowing in the mountains west of Calgary yesterday). Did you leave your traction control on when you went thru all that snow? Thanks for sharing!

the traction control was off, but even when it is "off", the traction control can still act. You can't never fully turn it off at 100% or i don't know how. (except for the button)
