    They question the logic of having the Micra alongside the Versa though, predicting the smallest Nissan would cannibalize sales of its bigger brother:
    thats why Toyota killed the Starlet in the USA
    (said it pulled sales from the Tercel)

    For all intents and purposes, the Micra is a better Versa than the Versa. Nissan needs to remain competitive against the Yaris, Fit, and others, and the Versa can only compete on price. I wouldn't be surprised if Nissan wants the Micra to replace the Versa, which would make sense.
