Micra 1.6L: acceleration, 0-100 km/h, 0-60 mph and top speed

We also have stats for other Nissan models with the same 1.6L drivetrain as the Micra.

    Car
    0-100 km/h
    (0-62 mph)
    0-60 mph
    (0-97 km/h)
    Top speed
    2015 Nissan Micra SR (Canada)
    1.6L, 5-speed 5MT
    Source: RPM video review
    Also tested 80-120 km/h: 7.9 s
    10.2 s
    2015 Nissan Micra SR (Canada)
    1.6L, automatic 4AT
    Source: MotoringTV
    10 s
2012 Nissan March (Micra K13, Brazil)
    1.6L, 5MT
    source
    9.5 s 191 km/h
    119 mph
    Micra K12, 160 SR (Netherlands)
    1.6L, 5MT
    source: MicraK13NL
    9.6 s
    Versa sedan, current generation:
    1.6L, 5MT
    2014 (source: AOL)
    2012 (source: zeroto60times)
    9.8 s
    9.0 s
    Versa Note, 2014
    1.6L, 5MT
    source: Car & Driver
    9.5 s

So it seems pretty likely the K13 Micra 1.6 for Canada is going to be around 9.5 - 10 seconds to 100 km/h, or a tick or two below that to 60 mph.

Feel free to contribute additional figures below!

I am thinking a fair calculation could be made using the weight difference, Cd difference, and times of the old one. Hazarding a rough guess, I would say 9s. Low for CVT, high for standard- under ideal conditions, of course.

    According to: http://www.zeroto60times.com/Nissan-0-60-mph-Times.html

We have these 0-60 times to compare to:
    2012 Versa Sedan - 9.0
    2014 Versa Note - 9.6
    2013 Micra Tekna (1.2L supercharged) - 11.2

    This site: http://www.autorooster.com/0-60-times/nissan/versa/
    claims a 2012 Versa sedan is 9.4s

However, if you plug the numbers into this 0-60 calculator site: http://measurespeed.com/zero-to-sixt...calculator.php
You get 8.49s which seems a bit optimistic.

    Thanks Tim!

Are all those numbers for the manual transmission?

So, somewhere around high 8 second to low 9 seconds range seems likely for the Micra 5-speed, considering it's a bit lighter than the sedan.

They don't mention if they're manual, auto or CVT.

car and driver did a full test on the 5 speed manual Note and were able to pull a 9.5 second 0-60mph so i imagine with the same engine and trasmission and the micra being around 200lbs lighter than the Note it would be very possible to get into the 8 second range for 0-60 times. someday i'd like to see what the 0-60 times are on my Note with the modifications i've made to it, cause at this point between static and rolling weight i've probably knocked about 100lbs. off the car and i know it feels much quicker than when it was stock

My K12 1.6L took about 9.6s to get to 100km. The new 1.6L has about the same bhp but 10nm less torque.

Thanks, guys, for the additional info.

Another point of reference: AOL Autos says the 2014 Versa sedan 1.6L 5-speed is good for 9.8 seconds 0-60 mph.

It's certainly not a rocket, but those are still respectable times.
