Hi everyone I just joined this forum and I am picking up my new micro tonight
My wife and I purchased the micro because we loved the test drive and think it is a perfect little car
To run around Calgary with.
Hope to learn lots about this little car and enjoy the driving.

We chose an automatic tranny, got the convenience package
Pearl metallic paint
Very cool and fun to drive
Chose this over Toyota Yaris - my main vehicle is a 2011 Tacoma - so we thought we'd like a Yaris but we changed our minds

That's interesting. The Micra & Yaris are not terribly far apart in terms of specs -- both even use old school 4-speeds for their automatics. What didn't you like about the Yaris?

My neighbour has a grey Yaris 4-door automatic. I've never actually talked to him about it.

Pearl metallic? is that a new color?

No I don't think it's a new colour. Must be the finish of the paint or something like that, the colour is blue, on the sales sheet it says "pearl metallic". - beats me
We decided against the Yaris because I didn't like the way they tries to pressure us into buying it so we went next door to the Nissan dealer looked at a few models and really liked the little Micra
