    Just got mine on, shift boot needs a dart sewn in to tighten it up a bit.

    I've had a question on how to remove the shift boot...

    There is a ring holding the bottom of the boot. Squeeze the boot to change the shape and clear it of the retainers.

    New shifter installed today. Removed old knob with a pair of channel lock pliers with ease. Cut off the knurled section to lower the shifter a bit and thread it to M10x1.25. Took about 25 mins to thread the shaft to a depth of 1.5"
