    IMPUL body kit

For those unsatisfied with the humble looks of the standard Micra, take a look at the IMPUL body kit for it. It certainly spices things up.

I really do like those tail lights too... They aren't completely different than ours, but I like em.

I think this is a bit gaudy, but if getting a Micra new, it may not be a bad idea to invest in something like this and install a solid, complete underbody on it.

I am curious if those rear openings do anything- are they just holes, or do they vent the air from the rear wheel wells?

While I doubt it, it is possible. The holes are open. You can see a tiny bit of light on the left side in the picture below. I just don't usually think of aftermarket parts as being that highly engineered of a product, especially body kits. They're usually just for looks.

Agreed, on the general purpose of these kits.

I do think those ports would be great exits for air caught in a rear skirted wheel well.

    (Hint hint, future Micra EcoModders)

I wonder why OEMs don't offer multiple front/rear bumper covers? I don't think it would be horribly expensive, and it can drastically change the looks of a car...

They did do that with the Mustang for a few years. The fascias actually offered different Cds, interestingly- but they stopped in 2013 for the non-super high end models. It seems like companies have a hard enough time thinking of one design, expecting at least two per model year? I have curbed my expectations :/

Haha... I suppose. This is the wrong end of the market to expect freebie options too.

Thats an $1800 body kit before shipping... I think I'll pass. I do like a nice body kit but not that one to be honest. I think "gaudy" is the right word.

    thats interesting

I wonder if it actually does anything for the car (aerodynamicly)?
or if it just produces drag

I highly doubt that its optimized for aerodynamics.
