BTW, that "Metal Mesh" is probably the heater core.
The Mirage is closer to the Micra people get in Europe than the Micra is here, and, I suspect, will still be here after Nissan ends the Micra in Canada.
I already did a number of years ago, and probably will again, thanks. :)
That's Apple for you, and why I would never own one. I dumped all my music on a USB drive, and that still works fine, thanks to open standards, something Apple hates and only adopts begrudgingly.
Too bad there are no pictures. I'm always curious to see how the Micra holds up to various types of impact.
Taller tires help quite a bit.
It's pretty much identical under the hood to the Versa.
They're going to do exactly what they did the first time with the K10, they'll keep removing things from the Micra until nobody wants it in order to extract every penny of profit right up until the...
Just to be clear, the only reason I removed my glove box was to see where I could add a light to illuminate the glove box, which was a project I never followed through on.
I need to be honest, I haven't been entirely happy with Nissan with regards to issues I've had. I feel as though they like to play dumb, pass the buck, and run us in circles until we finally give up....
LOL, honestly, when I read the title of this thread, I thought this:

Honestly, I couldn't sell my Micra. If I bought another car, I'd still keep it around, maybe stored in the barn at my parent's place.
If they follow you in another car, they'll probably follow you in another Nissan Micra. They know what's up.
In any case, I put "Versa"-sized tires on my car (185/65R15), and using a Garmin GPS,...
Might want to check and make sure the button is actually connected, the light should come on when pressing it once with the car running.
As for my experience, I put my worn all-season factory...

So we finally took the Versa out for a good, proper road trip this past weekend. As you can see, the engine RPM's are considerably lower at cruising speeds. However, with three adults in the...
Good for you. At the end of the day, the Micra is an entry level car, and, as fun as it is, there are more fun, more comfortable, and perhaps slightly less practicable options. Got to drive what you...
That was my argument, Chef; I told him, if I thought the car needed an extended warranty, I wouldn't buy the car. Every defect should show up during the life of the standard warranty, so I figure...
My own experience is that the cost of an extended warranty translates to a lot of work that could be done on your car, but with added headache. What's the worst that could happen? The engine blows...
I'm curious to know how you went about scoring that immaculate Metro. Was it in the Auto Trader, a local Kijiji/Craigslist, or did you just happen upon it?
So for many, the Micra is their first new car, and I know that some people have already traded it in or moved on to another car. For me, my Micra was something I never thought I'd check off on my...
Last time we had a Micra in Canada, Nissan did a facelift in Europe in 1989, but we never saw it; instead, they sold the remaining stock into 1991 and that was that, because it wasn't cost effective...
Remember, kids; at the end of the day, it's just a Micra. In my part of the world, they seem to be increasingly popular with seniors and young women. For guys like me, it's a money saving go-kart...
I was in my first year of college, and my father gave me his '85 Mazda 626 LX. This was a beautiful blue car with a great 5 speed manual transmission, awesome stereo system, and full digital dash and...
Micra's aren't supposed to have chrome, just a step in the wrong direction for this car. I'm just glad they never turned it into a sedan...yet.
