BTW, that "Metal Mesh" is probably the heater core.

Going for my first oil change this week. Dealer said they had Micra in cabin air filters in stock. I'll report back on wednesday if that was accurate or not..
So heres what they sold me. (way over expensive)

These come from a Versa Sedan (forgot to ask what year.)
( I know other posts mention this but its a 10 page information session.)
how much was it?
Give or take about 55$, no way in hell i'm buying it there twice. but good to know we have a working part #.
I went to my dealer this morning (Prestige Nissan in Montreal) to leave my car for a 16 000 km maintenance. I asked the guy at the service counter about the cabin air filter and the official answer was : No filter present from the factory, not even a spot to place a filter in the Micra. He was a little bit stunned when I told him that I ordered a filter from Europe two years ago, and that there is in fact an empty room for the filter and that part number is 27277-1HD0B
So I went directly to the parts counter, and I gave to the guy there the Nissan part number above that I got from Nissan Europe. Surprise! He told me he has the filter in stock, with this number, which is specifically for the Micra K13! He also told me that he received those filters only last January, he did not have them before.
The guy at the service counter was not really happy about this and he was wondering why this filter was not present in is maintenance system for the Micra. Parts guy answered him that this filter was not officially mentioned in the Micra maintenance schedule, for obvious reasons. He said that when a customer shows up with the part number, they sell it to him, but do not tell every customer that this part is available, so it is a secret part!
Price was 37 $
