This is by no means a challenge!
I am not responsible if you attempt to beat this.
I am just curious if you have filled up with more fuel then 43 litres.

40.205 L or 10.621 US gallons is the most I've ever put in my Versa.
That is amazing! i think i hit 37 once and figured i was lucky at that.
I dont like how there is no low fuel indicator once the 1/8 stops displaying...really there is still what 10-15 litres at that point. like more than 100 km! Miss the old school anolog gauge - when it stopped floating, you knew you were low on fuel! haha
Havent been on the forum in a while. I saw this post last night
I just put in 42.6 litres... I will take your challenge.
43.853Litres and drove 747km,

Jerry can.... Come on, live dangerously for once.
No guts, no glory!
No one else taking up the challenge?
Ahem......while I'd like to be able to motor that much longer on a mega filled tank.....are ye not risking sucking crud into the fuel injectors by allowing yer tank to get that low?(asking for a friend.....:)...).but I guess thats what fuel filters are for.......
Technically you are not wrong.
Additionally, regularly running below 1/2 and staying below 1/4 the fuel pump is no submerged
In fuel. The fuel acts like it’s own “cooling” system.
Pump can degraded faster because of heat build up in the pump.
I’m not saying it still does, or always does, but it has happened,
so it’s good practice to prepare to fill up after you are under half, before you hit 1/4.
The best and most economical method is using “fleet fueling practices”
Using “averaging” the “buys” and only filling what you used that day, you on average paid less
Either as you return( better) from the day, top her off so your ready to good.
Or first thing in the morning ( worse ) as it leaves you a task to do first.
Plus gas is usually cheaper EOD then before the morning rush.
Also “buy the ****ing dip” lmao
Well, I seem to only be challenging my self on here.
I stepped it up a bit. 45.950 Litres.
I reset the trip meter when the fuel mileage went blank (usually happens when you have 40km left) i then drove a whole 100km on the highway past that point. So, 60km past the estimated remaining range.

I wonder what the average price of a litre of fuel was in 2015 at the start of this challenge. When I purchased my Micra in Jan 2021, a litre of gas was $1.02 and a fill was forty something dollars.....My last fill was $2.149 a litre...something I never expected. My joy riding days are over, and I now make my trips count......Things could be worse, I could be driving a monster truck....:)
Nor I Sir, nor I!......I knew $1.02/litre I was paying when I purchased the car was not going to last, but I didnt think that it would reach well above $2.00/litre, either. I'm glad I did my joy riding with it when I did......:)
