Is this normally the look of an air filter after 33,000 km of use? BTW, most trips are local and consist of a couple of km in stop and go traffic.

Yes, I change mine every 15-17K KM and it looks just as crappy.

The PCV valve is behind the air filter and has it's own tiny filter. I doubt that would cause it.Quote:
