Sorry ... Driving on my 4th fill up ... And each time i fill 36 litres .
36L*4=144L
1458km/100=14.58
144L/14.58=9.87L/100km
Not so good...
Haven't completed my 4th fill up yet I am at 1787 and half way on my 4th fill up
341km and I just put 22.199L into the tank. 90% City. So If this calculator is right.. 6.51L/100km (36.13mpg I think)..At $1.386/l... $30.77 from just under half a tank.
That's much better then what the Micra website says at 8.6/6.6L.
I just did my first fuel up at 526km...50$....are you kidding me...I love this car!!!!
drove 500km day trip, computer said 6.0L/100km city and highway mixed driving. I was pretty liberal with acceleration as well. seems VERY good if thats accurate.
I noticed that weight makes a huge difference with the Micra. Loaded up with three full grown adults and some gear, I find I'm seeing the EPA estimates for mileage. Mileage improves significantly when it's just me in the car, and it becomes easy to beat the EPA estimates. It is satisfying that the Micra's performance doesn't suffer much from added weight and the economy is still very good.
I am reading a constant 5.5 but I am a turtle lol. I will show with a pic after my first tank of gas.
My new Micra SV 1.6 manual so far as out preformed the mileage estimates given by Nissan
most of my driving is during rush hour and anyone living in the GTA knows what that is like
the car is using 6.4 ltr/100 with an estimated range of 640 km
I rarely drive on the highway so I guess this would be city driving approx 23 km each way to work and back
the car is still in its break in period so time will tell if the numbers hold up
as of now I am very very impressed with my little Micra
Dave - congrats on the results & welcome to the forum! What were you driving before the Micra?
