Mainly stop and go driving....used mid grade gas this fill to see if it improved fuel economy.....if anything, it had the opposite effect....though the engine did seem to run smoother.....Ive noticed the engine does have a tendency to "surge" on occassion....

Edging ever closer to that magic 35 mpg mark.....this was combined city/highway driving, so Im pretty impressed with the mileage.....seems to do better on Chevron gasoline Im finding.....

Caught in a major traffic jam.....was basically crawling for 45 minutes with the air conditioner running the whole trip.......actually considering this, Im not too disappointed with the mileage....This was a combination of highway, freeway, and stop and go traffic in downtown Vancouver.....

A little disappointed......first half of the tank seemed to be sipping.....the last quarter tank was sucked down like there was no tomorrow...I went from having 47 kilometres left on the guage to to flashing a wanring of a dry tank within it seemed like minutes......to be fair, I was carrying a load of new Michelin snow tires scored earlier in the day at Canadian tire, but I didnt think that added weight would have made the thing guzzle....but perhaps it does.....something that I will be watching.....

A lot of stop and go driving in incredibly cold temperatures(for BC) this past week.....knew mileage would be down considerably, so not particularly shocked.....

The 7.9 litre per 100 km jives exactly with what the Micra readout stated. I think the mileage is decent considering this was combined city, highway, freeway, and back country driving. Where I live is mainly hills, so mileage is going to be less, but overall Im happy for a first fillup. As I was using the defroster a lot, the air con was coming on a lot as well.....and Id like to see what the mileage is on a normal day without the defrost and air con and no stop and go. I'd like to see it do 40 mpg.
