Thread: Mi micra :: 2015 Nissan Micra SV (Garage entry)

  1. General Information
    Mi micra
    2015
    Nissan
    Micra SV
    Silver
    5 speed

    A/C and cruise

    Modifications

    2015

Installing a/c condenser protecting gutter mesh and air dam to protect alternator

    pics soon

placed dam behind grill, to keep alternator dry; .2-.3 improvement in L/100km at speed

You've missed all the fun of me ripping off the front bumper cover on a parking stop and "hit", damaging the same bumper cover, twice. As it is all fixed now

    2015

Current stereo has rear seat back removed.

I have 're-shaped' the rear seat foam; bent the back ends up, so that I could still attach it at the front.

also got wiring installed in an attractive manner; pictures soon

I have disabled the 'a/c on with defrost'
    2019

I removed all semblance of the rear seats a couple years ago.
Welded me up a steel frame that mounts to the factory seat bolts for the most part
    created a flat deck
put in a slightly bigger subwoofer

Car stereo are my bread and butter.

Picture needs updating to latest configuration.

    Pictured is
a 600 watt RMS 12" in a 3.0 Cubic Foot box (made of 7/8 MDF); running at 2ohms

amp is, as it says, an exile 2500.1; putting out 1250 watts RMS

keep hounding me for a decent post on how to install a 300A battery post in the cargo area

I am feeling out a good spot for a secondary DIN mount in the passenger foot well; I have got mine mounted to the seat bolt closest to the cup holders. It's a good spot for aux. deck, but it is too far off to the side for general use.

\My next mount will be at the front cup holders, they have bad access anyways and it will put the deck at my finger tips while shifting\\

    2015

cleaned and die-electrict-ed a couple ground points

I will eventually engineer and install some custom scoops, to better direct the air coming from the grill.

one to channel fresh air to the alternator

one to bring fresh air to the battery

and smoothing out the intake side of the radiators

    staying stock.

future holds girthier sway bars and assist springs in the rear to help with the extra weight from stereo

    •

    Tires had PSI adjusted
    Front = 36.5~
    Rear = 38.5~

NOTE: if PSI was 40 all round, my speedo would read properly

Wow, very cool. I am truely honored.

I has always wanted to properly document my escapades and projects for a vehicle and as the 'century Micra' owner I shall not let laziness keep you all from the knowledge learned from my blood sweat and tears

    : P gag

    I knoe

but I always appreciated when members posted well organized information on project I would like to do, that made them seem approachable; and I hope to do the same.

It is always tough to drill into a new car.
