They look great Moose. I had wanted to do the same, so it's nice to see what they look like.

    Very nice.

I actually need to repaint the steel wheels on my wife's car. They're getting pretty rusty...

Got an idea....dark grey as yours, but do the indent in a different color? What product did you use Moose? I'm guessing it has to be done in a certain temperature also.

    Hi Wynter,
I used plasti dip, about a can and a half, four coats. I don't know about the temperature but I think it should nt be too humid. I did the covers in the kitchen with over stove fan and bathroom fan on full blast. Was too windy outside with leaves and stuff blowing around. I think two colors would look cool but I can only imagine the masking nightmare Involved with four wheel covers. Anyway, most important thing is to make sure they are clean(use dish soap) and dry. Any water trapped in any creases will cause stuff to peal off. Check the links in this thread or just search you tube. Lots of great tutorials.

Thanks Moose. Yes, a lot of taping for sure. Unless I do the whole thing soon, it will be next year's project. Our color of car looks so much better with dark hub caps.
