Hello everyone & quick question about Micra Cup Micra

Currently I am looking at Micra, and found out there is the Micra cup Micra.

Do anyone know where can I buy that? (I know it's from dealership, but I go to 2-3 dealers around me, no hope)
Is that car street legal (with street tire installed), can it drive thru the street?

Any extra info will be helpful!

    Thanks

Short answer is no. It's a track only racecar with stripped interior, no air bags, no cat, modified seat and steering wheel, full rollcage, basically every mod that can make it not street legal. You can buy a new one for ~22K I believe by signing up to race in the series, or a used one from one of the race-teams directly.

Or you can try to find one of these...

Thread: 2016 Nissan Micra Cup Limited Edition trim

Probably not what you had in mind, though.

hahaha, thanks for the info guys!

At first, I was hoping to get the micra cup micra for street use.
This car remind me the early 80s civic, but missing a few elements.

Let see how will it works out once I finish the test drive with the stick. I will know the result LOL

Btw, do anyone know that can I buy that micra cup Nismo suspension, and the brake pad at the dealership? (Roughly how much?)

To help you dream a little bigger, here's the top specification of the Micra, the Nismo S March, built for those who like to drive hard. Name: mainvisual_01.jpg

hahaha, North America wise, I stop dreaming about a daily + track car for a very long while already.....

At first, I was hoping the new subaru sti come, but no hope. still the same engine & chassis....
Honda Civic Type R.... the price is a joke.....
VW Golf R & Focus RS.... coming close, but for that reliability, forget about it.....

I don't think the dealership sells the parts.

    Check...

You can get the Nismo S-tune suspension kit here: https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/cps-mm/item/n28758/

However, take note that the Micra cup do not actually use this, they falsely advertise Nismo and the cup series is nothing but a marketing scheme by Nissan Canada. Current cars use cheap Chinese brand coil-overs by SCALE a company that is based in Quebec and use to be called STD (Standard Suspension).

haha, Another myth solved. I was wondering how can they fit a coilover into the rear of this car.

Either they have to build a special unit for it, or make a coilover sleeve and a super short shocks for it.....

Looks like they just put a set of adjustable stuff at the back, and claim it as a coilover.....
