I replaced my 2008 Infiniti G35X. Only had around 100,000 K on it, had a wonderful interior but beyond that it was pretty boring. Suspension was "blah" and the "X" had zero options available for suspension trickery, I also made the mistake of trying an automatic. In every driving situation it got worse fuel mileage than my C6 Corvette and on the highway the Corvette demolished it's fuel efficiency!

So I decided that there was no way I was feeding a dull car more premium fuel than my C6 to sit in traffic!

The Micra may not be as fancy as the Infiniti, but it is waaaay more fun to drive!

I was surprised to read you found that car boring ... until I got to the part about it being an automatic.

Are you happy you went back to manual with the Micra?

    For sure!
I had high hopes for G35X, even with the auto. It was the nicest and most boring Nissan I've owned!
Previously owned........ Datsun510, Datsun 1200, 260Z, Datsun 1600 pickup (with a larger motor crammed in), Sentra, 4-cylinder hardbody 4x4 pickup, the Infiniti and now the Micra.

2001 Suzuki Esteem wagon, same color as this one. This car replaced a base model 1995 Suzuki Swift (similar but in white), our original "Little Guy"

Replaced my 2009 Chev Uplander (cargo version). Slightly different carrying capacity but I am impressed with how much I can fit into the Micra
