Why is the ac light always on

The AC kicks on automatically if the vent knob is on defog, or feet/defog. AC will dry out the air and helps to defog the glass...

It works too Newfie Micra, I was driving from Gander with our new Micra, and noticed it on, flicked it off and steamed up almost instantly. Nice to have another newfoundlander here!
