    Rear Seat not attached

Now that I've got your attention, it was no big deal.

SWMBO noticed the inside hinge of the "40" rear seat was not attached. Part seemed to be missing. Visit to the dealer and the part was there but had been rolled down. Half hour later all was well. Car washed and we were off.

    Factory boo boo.

North Island Nissan does free car washes with new vehicle purchase. Hmm, if I run it for 20 years I'll be close to the purchase price of the car.

Well that's a bit worrying. Could have been a big deal if involved in a collision! Glad the other half noticed and it's all taken care of!

You are right, of course. No one had ridden in the back and the issue was discovered when she was folding the seat down for the first time.

Posted as a heads up. Wonder how many of us rarely have people in the rear seats and just leave the seats folded down ?

One of the first things I did when I brought the car home was to remove the rear seats. I don't know 3 other people I'd want to be in a car with. lol
