Will do!
I pointed out that right at key off you can see the needle sitting around 3 kms.
Will post back once resolved.

So after months I got my cluster replaced.
It's still off but ways better.
It's off by 2 kms at any speed, where as before the faster I went the more there was a difference according to the GPS.
To go 100 Kms I had to go 112 or whatever I forget. I got so used to using my GPS as my speedo which is crap!
Now to go 100 kms I have to go 102 kms, not bad!
So while not perfect as my wife's 2017 its doable. Her needle sits perfectly at zero and mine still rests around 2 kms.
Anyone know how to remove the cluster? I'll adjust the needle myself.
Thanks.

good luck "adjusting" the needle...
1)your going to break it, its SUPER fragile..i have broken one along time ago..it was a suprise.
2) you need to hold the shaft still while you move/rotate the needle and there wont be room to do that without removing the needle
3) zen out...let it go...who gives a crap what the spedo says...just drive safely., i rarely look at the speedo...tach, yes
2015 Micra S (manual)
no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
Feb 2015 build
9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!
Zen out!
Good advice, generally.

I checked mine a couple of months ago after reading this thread. My 2017 seemed to be okay. Obviously speedometers are not going to be exact due to legal reasons. There is going to be some leeway. For some of you, it's a lot. I could see a couple of km's but the one that was 8 kms off, wow!
Today I fixed my speedo to EXACT speed.
To get the cluster out:
Remove two screws on steering column cover and it snaps apart.
Remove left side fuse cover.
Remove two bolts under gas / hood release.
1 screw to the left that holds the obd2 port. (2017 has 2)
Unsnap lower bezel. Let it hang.
Unsnap sterio bezel.
Tilt column down, unsnap cluster bezel.
Unsnap cluster cover (leave cluster in)
Pull needle and align it.
DONE
Put interior back.
I couldn’t take it lol. That’s me!

You're a pioneer!
Thanks for posting the removal instructions. (I may copy that to a dedicated thread to help people searching for that info.)

Thanks!!!
Man I feel relieved.
It’s been months! This shouldn’t happen on a new car.
Oh a FYI.
Our fobs key is both matchine washable and can take an hour in the dryer on hot cycle lol.
I couldn’t believe it still worked after that lol.
Ha!
FYI: My parents' cat knocked my phone off the shelf straight into its water bowl last week. 30 minutes disassembled in front of a hair dryer + 24h in a baggie of rice... I couldn't believe it still worked.
