    OK, I bit.

And I laughed. At double (?) speed, the Micra sounds like a little F1 car or a sport bike.

But I didn't watch it all.

Do you use 5th gear much on your commute? I didn't hear any 4-5 shift.

I spend very little time in fifth gear. I believe the video is sped up to 400%, so the engine is video reving at around 12,000 rpm. This is close to Formula 1's 15,000 rpm so the sound is similar.

Anyway, it is a great little commuter.

    LOL!

    what camera did you use?

This video make me realize even more how easy this car is to maneuver in the city and in the traffic.

I watched it. It was excellent! Great for showing how agile this car is. Right now I'm thinking of it as a sort of alternate universe Civic Hb which never bloated up. It even has the good visibility which seems to be missing from modern cars.

I use a gopro hero 4. However I am having trouble sourcing a memory card that allows writing fast enough for the higher resolution/frame rates the camera is capable of. So I end up at 720/30fps.

I am about 2,500 kms in now and I really like this car. We have just had a couple of almost summer like days here in Vancouver and although a/c would have been nice, rolling down both front seat windows sufficed.

Also a very useful video, once you slow down the playback to quarter speed, to listen to the shifts.

A few years ago I was going to buy a Honda Fit, but nixed it because of the horrible throttle over run. You'd push in the clutch, and the revs would actually rise, and then ever so slowly fall, over the space of about 5 or 6 seconds. Very frustrating, especially since the gearbox itself was so excellent.

The Micra revs seem to fall at an acceptably quick rate for good (sporty) shifts.

I feel the throttle does hang a second or so too long and that does play havoc with my shifting. Or, it could be that my last manual car was about 25 years ago..
