I wish I could have stayed for today's race but it wasn't in the cards. It was an awesome day the scenery and the friendly hospitality. The area from Montebello to Mont tremblant was just stunning.

If Im going from 407 and hurontario to lakeshore( downhill ), never going above 2600rpm, 5th gear as often as possible, pulse and glide style, front windows down. I get 4.3l/100km avg. with a reset dash.
Going back up the same route, spiritedly, brought me up to 8.0l/100km
A weekend of city streets and 2nd gear short stop residentials, and short burst jonts on the hwy. im at 7.6l/100km.
Ive driven about 400km on roughly 35 litres which is lik 8.7l/100
But im use to a 65 litre tank lasting about 350km -400km with the same driving.
So .. But juke swap.. Because racekar

I tried driving 1/8-1/4 throttle, 0-2500 rpm never over 80km max. Clear roads at night 5.4ltr
1/8-1/4 with some 1/2 , 0-3000rpm max up to 120km hot day with traffic 7.1ltr
Also, i tried 94petro.. Awful stuff. The btus are same or lower then 91 power and aki is to high.
In 5th i put full load from just under 100km at say 2500rpm
When it was climbing it aeemed sluggish, then as it hit 3500rpm ( open loop ) it hit a wall and wouldnt accel any more.
My assumption is: the higher aki is preventing full burning of the fuel, which has te same or less energy then 91 to begin with,
The result is, less power, less energy, more unburnt raw fuel, less mpg.
When the take was empty i used 91 vpower again and noticed that i did not exprience the same "wall" or sluggishness.
Now im going to try 10% pur toluene making 93.3 oct but with more btus ( thermal energy )

Funny enough, the onboard computer gives me an average of 5.2. My log, using our crappy odometers, gives me 5.67L/100Km.
But if I readjust the 723Km down 5% (I measured the distance using the road markers over a 1000Km distance, and odometer was off exactly 50Km), I would get 5.96 L/100Km, which is the value I feel the most accurate for mainly highway.
Main city only driving, I get 553Km (525 true distance) for a average of 7.81 L/100Km.
Very glad overall. I just want Nissan to fix the darn odometer and speedometer as it skews everything. I hate the fact that my logs can't match (I have software running on my smartphone calculating speed/distance using the GPS) with what OBDII and journal/speedometer reads.
Do you adjust your mileage when calculating your MPG ?

Have you actually calibrated your odometer?
The car knows (OBD-II) how fast it is "really" going (I assume the speedometer gauge is fed an offset value):
So the odometer itself is not necessarily off. It was accurate in the first SR automatic that I test drove -- I checked it against a known distance and against OBD-II. I didn't check the base S I tried in June.

On the drive back home tonight, I'll read the OBDII speed while on the highway. How do you calibrate your odometer? I didn't change anything, stock tires.

I just compared the dashboard gauge & OBD-II generated distance readings against a 20 km long stretch of (flat) road that I measured in Google Earth. All 3 agreed within 0.1 km. I guess you could use GPS as well.
