Test Drive: 2015 Nissan Micra SV automatic (autonet.ca)

Another positive review ("One my favourite new-model offerings for the new year"), this one starts out referring to the Micra's close 2nd place finish to the Honda Fit in AJAC's small car of the year award:

Fact is, if it hadn’t been for the redesigned Honda Fit, the little hatcback’d runabout from Nissan might have been considered a shoo-in to take its class at the recently completed Canadian Car of the Year contest
    Likes:

    - seamless Bluetooth operation
    - comfortable seating/controls
    - good outward visibility (rearview camera not really needed)
    - handles nicely
    - tight turning circle
    - nice styling
    - decent fuel economy (observed (L/100 km): 7.4 over 310 km)

    Dislikes:

    - noisy ride (road & wind noise)
    - rear seat room
    - doors feel "light"
    - plastic interior, "some components feel cheap"
    - mediocre power (WHAT?)

    Overall:

    Overall: 8/10 – a likeable, affordable and packaged-to-please urban short-tripper

I don't get the "Mediocre power" comment.

    Shall we refer him here?

a "Urban short tripper" ?? i drove all my way to Ottawa then to Montreal just a week ago lol But it did get a little too shaky in the windy weather to a point that i had to pullover for a while to check my car lol i thought it's something wrong with my tires at first then i figured it's the strong wind condition. Otherwise the car is perfect for my first car ever ^^ lol although the materials they used to make the dashboard are little "cheap".

Never rode in a Pontiac, huh?

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

I am used to a Honda Civic, so my Micra feels like a Cadillac. I never felt that it was not comfortable even for a long ride. I don't even think it's noisy. The Civic is worse.
