Talking FINALLY getting my winter tires installed today! :)

I won a complete set of winter tires from Okotoks Honda on their Twitter contest they had back last year. I was COMPLETELY surprised when they announced my name on their YouTube channel here: http://youtu.be/F215-I_65kc and told me that I won them!

I just didn't get around to picking them up as I had my old 2003 Pathfinder at the time and being so busy at work after a hospital stay over Christmas.

My wife picked them up for me on Friday and FINALLY getting my winter tires installed today! Name: B3OMQQdCYAENF8S.jpg

These Toyos seem to be pretty good winter tires with LOTS of positive review here: http://www.1010tires.com/Tires/Revie.../Observe+GSi-5 It's a good thing that I didn't have to pay the $170 or more for each one to purchase them either. Can't beat FREE!!

Woohoo, free tires. That is great! Congratulations.

How much to get them mounted and installed?

    NiCE! Congrats.

You just reminded me I won a set of tires once! Driving contest. And I got to "take your pick" from Bridgestone. Back then I was running skinny little 155/80/r13's on my VW Rabbit -- hardly worth it. Instead I chose a set of low profile performance tires for my brother's car (Plymouth Laser turbo / Mitsu Eclipse). I think retail was about $200 each. He threw a few dollars at me for the kindness.

I had it installed at my Chevy dealership, my service manager did it for me for $115.50 GST in where I work. We are an auto group (http://www.mcdonaldautogroup.ca/) in Lethbridge and Taber, Alberta!

Here are some pics on this link here: http://campl.us/d4KkFQaGnAa They washed it for me too!
